when you say that a gaming PC is more expensive than a console is a very incorrect statement because most people already own a PC & may spend $$300+ on a console, but with a PC all you need to make it equivalant to a console is to throw in a $180(radeon hd3850)
videocard. & as a plus with a PC you can even Make your own RPG if you had the skills & make money off of it :)
