If you like BMX...you should at least rent this. I, myself, didn't like
BMX that much until I played this version for PS1. It was kinda cheesy
with the 32 bit graphics, but it instantly caught my eye as of one of
the great sport games.
Graphics: Graphics look like the Tony Hawk games that you see
all over. Yes, your hand can go through the wall and your body can still
get caught up in a major glitch, but what's cool about this game is that
it has the Skeletal Dynamics System (DNS) that generates real-time crashes
that vary each time. I think that is very smart and cool. So, it's not
like THPS in where you always fall the game way.:)
Sound: It has great songs from various Punk artists and bands.
They are actually real songs, and you can listen to them in the options
menu.
Gameplay: With massive tricks and combos...you would think that
the gameplay would be hard...but it's really not. Just simple 3-button
moves...is that too much to ask? What I just do is push a lot of buttons!
LOL! Oh, this game also has about 1,000 tricks.:)
Replay: The replay is awesome because of the many things that
you can earn. New tracks, styles, bikes, and even the Slim Jim guy! You
will want to play this one over and over.
Overall: I think this game really brought out the BMX in me. Heh.
