Just a few seconds after my last post I had a grand thought. The Panasonic Q was just a better incarnation of Nintendo's GCN right? (for those of you who doing know what the Panasonic Q are, you make me sick) Wouldn't it make nintendo even more filthy rich if they just made a core system (a beefy core system) and then liscence it out to companies like Panasonic, Apex Digital, Magnavox, and others? I mean, GCN was purely meant for games not anything else, not dvd's not recording tv, or any of that stuff, just games... take that as a primary base, liscence the core system to others, let them build it in to their dvd's and pvr's...maybe as a secondary function to the device even! And the gamebase for nintendo and liscencing moolah will poorith over! It would be cool to see a GCN logo sticker on my next bargain dvd player just like there's a windows xp sticker on my notebook pc.
