So what if Nintendo never made a sequel to Earthbound, Punchout, etc.? Who says Nintendo isn't online? Sure, the GameCube isn't online, but the DS will be, and I'm guessing they'll have online games for the Revolution (they know they'll need online gaming to stay alive.) They didn't let their most popular second party developers leave! Rare was BOUGHT by Microsoft, remember? As for your "mature" Zelda comment, who fricking CARES?! I love the Zelda series because of the intuitive puzzle solving, wonderful storylines and adventurous feel. "Mature" is just enjoying the game you're playing, not for what kinds of violence is in it. I guess you think it's impossible to enjoy a game without the violence. Poor you.
Yep, it WOULD suck if Nintendo had to "reply" on certain games to survive, as you put it. All I'm saying is, they don't boast about having games where all you do is go around killing people for fun.
Oh yeah, and by the way, Nintendo has a little game called RESIDENT EVIL 4 coming out EXCLUSIVELY for the GameCube. I'm not into Resident Evil, but I know a lot of people are, so just you wait and see what'll happen...
