You know what I played better games than this. I've been playing games since the famicom period, and I am surprised as to why this game is highly rated. Resident evil 3 is better in my opinion. Its quite repetitive and very boring. You want scary play Silent Hill. You want action play Devil May Cry.
This game has such a bad story that I don't care if the president's girl dies and Leon dies, there isn't just enough motivation and immersion factor in the game. There is a game that is similar to RE4 and that is Cold Fear. Cold Fear for me has better pacing and has a scary atmosphere than RE4. Zombie villagers around me doesn't scare me, it just doesn't cut it. I think the tension is lacking. Shooting villagers may be fun but seeing all the death animations over and over again gets boring.
