Well maybe this is topic worthy. I picked up an SP (black) on Tuesday. I have to say it's an odd phenomenon that games are actually more enjoyable when you have a front light as opposed to positioning yourself at a perfect angle to a really bright light. Hell, sometimes Id rather play on the SP in my room than on my player.

My reasons for purchasing this portable device? There are numerous gaps in my class schedule. I also saw a bunch of people playing tactics on SP's as well as some unknown game in the course of monday and tuesday. Seeing as how I HOPE to be playing a good deal of Crystal Chronicles multiplayer, this purchase will not dissapoint. Also my next plane ride won't be as boring. Warioware is the final nail in the coffin (of this purchase) since it is a fantastic way to buy about 5 minutes and get a ton of gaming in at the same time. So in conclusion, good purchase. PS2 is next, then maybe an xbox :ahh

Hey, the SP rocks!! Not only is it really cool and sexy, but the light kicks major ass. I purchased Wario Ware awhile back, and my whole family[and friends] are addicted to it. I just got paid about 20minutes ago, and im looking into getting either tactics or Advance Wars later on.

Speaking of unusual RPG promotions, Tactics comes with this little pamphlet detailing rpgs coming to the GBA. I find this interesting seeing as how they made a commercial in Japan to show the consumers that GC had a nice chunk of rpgs on it after all. In Nintendo's long line of promotional gimmics, this one is actually pretty smart.

Does GC have RPGs over in Japan that just arn't making their way over here? Cause as far as I know GC only has one worthwhile RPG, and it's a DC port to boot.

Oh yeah, don't forget Advance Wars 2 and Golden Sun 1-2. Those should be atop any GBA'ers list...

The RPG's in question are Crystal Chronicles, Baiten Kaitos, Lost Kingdoms (1+2) and Tales of Phantasia. I dont remember anything else that has or will be coming out. As far as Japan goes, only Baiten Kaitos hasn't come out. I'm pretty sure all these games will be here eventually.
