Well you just gotta beat all the missions silly! Are you level 72 or higher? Go to mission 4-3 and beat it (either difficulty). This unlocks Submission 2. Now beat all of those twice and I assume that should be it for you.

every spot on the map has to be blue. Basically it means you have no other reason to ever go back to weapon master mode unless you're trying to unlock the rest of the weapons.

Dammit, maybe I wasn't alone in having Lizardman as my favorite SC character.

I'm level 55 with the Soul Edge Completes for all the characters so far. I'd trade Link for Lizardman.

Since you fuckers spent extra cash getting controllers to play on Gamecube, maybe I can invest in a....CHEAT DEVICE lmao

Man it's not THAT hard Tork. A few can be tricky, but put in just a little time (it only took me and my GC pad 13 hours about to beat them all) and you'll be fine. How do you plan on doing well in Fzero ever?

And what do you mean by you fuckerS? As far as I know only Hyrbid has gotten a stick for his GC. Just use Kilik and use his basic moves (nothing fancy) to beat down the CPU.

yeah i was gonna say that bone, but i noticed this topic would be just me and tork. A few missions were DAMN tough, but just a few, nothing unbeatable.

This Blast Corps-style "beat one level, 5 more appear" bullshit has me shopping for Action Replay.

And FAD Assassin, he just a damn Yunsung.

Fuck all of the extra characters (except Yoshimitsu and Sophitia) give me Lizard-FUCKING-man!

Assasin is definately not Yunsung. Anyone who put a few minutes into him and tried learning some moves (without the freakin command list thank you very much Warren Christopher) would realize that he's much more like Hwang. Unfortunately he doesn't have some key moves that MADE Hwang in SC...at least for me.

Oh and anyone that has to use an action replay to beat all the missions in SC2 is either too lazy or REALLY bad at this game. Well...this IS coming from the guy that said moves can be cheap against real opponents...

It's too damn time consuming going through dungueons where you have to fight 15+ matches straight without a save point or experience points. It's not so much a difficulty thing, this is how I've gotten through so far - Yoshimitsu with Soul Edge kick, 8 way run, kick, 8 way run, kick = RINGOUT, NEXT!! (very Soul Calibur on Dreamcat-like, wouldn't you say?)

The challenging matches are the ones where you must win a certain way. I'm stuck on the 2nd go round of killing someone with an air combo. How'd you do that?

I swear, if Lizardman was the first hidden character released, I'd get him and never play Weapon Master again (I only played it on DC once).

All of this for Lizardman? I'm starting to wonder if it's even worth it...

Speaking from experience, it's not. I got more satisfaction out of the knowledge that I had completed them all then I ever did playing as Lizardman.

And I'm sure what the hard levels are vary from person to person (for me the hardest was beating Inferno that 4th time, took me over 35 tries!), but I found that air combo one tricky too. It didn't take long to realize the easiest way to beat a level was luring the enemy to a ring out. The levels (like this one) with no ring outs are tricky. Just find a move that usually knocks someone into the air and keep doing it until it works. It only takes a few hits once in the air. Try Kiliks A+'B' spin move. I also hated those boring ass Dungons.

Try a different weapon too! I didn't buy any new weapon till I had most levels already beat. Once I did buy a Soul Edge and one that restores life, the remaining ones didnt seem as hard as I first thought...

No no no tork, Assassin is more like Hwang than Yunsung. Yes they are similar, but not enough so that Yunsung is one of my main characters. Hwang was my number 2 guy before.

Anyway...hmm what else do i have to say on the game? It's been out for quite some time now. Well I guess I can mention that I waited a while to spend my dough, although I did buy up Nightmare's 3rd costume immediately. I specifically remember mission 4-3 (extra) being very difficult because of Taki being all defensive in the third match and I was trying to get a strategy down for beating them all fast as hell. I think I ended up beating that with Maxi. Another one that was hard was a mission where you had to beat 7 guys in a row, while they healed, while using soul edges. That was done with Link and Fairy Sword.

The 4-3 is easy once you get the Soul Edge. The easier of the characters will let you circle around them for a cheap ringout if you kick them in the face as soon as they get up. The more difficult ones won't let you get a ringout, but in the process of staying away from the edge, they sandwich themselves by a wall. Cheap wall juggle, anyone?

And the one with the 7 caught me off guard and the AI is pretty good, but the strategy for that remains the same. Some will let you get a ringout, the others just get kicked and grabbed into walls for a KO.

And I figured out why it's called Soul EDGE - for the cheap ringouts! lol
