At half of tonight's ass whomping of the worst team in the NFL (aka the Bears) by the Packers, Al Micheals talked about a new feature of MNF. In it they team up a NFL player with a with a well known music artist and create a song. Then fans vote on which they liked better. Al said (roughly):
"Several NFL players will create music, or a rap, with well known artists of the day."
Damn! Tonight Harrington was teamed with Blues Travler and some Chargers guy was teamned with DMC. Both weren't good (Harrington has no rythem, and I loved DMC's description of the Chargers song, "Well, you can tell it came from the heart." {{coughitsuckedcough}}), but no surprise, the white trash hicks who account for far more of the viewers (I was surprised they had PCs though), agreed with Al and won out with like 85% of the vote...
On a side note, I really like the new Outkast. A little different, but there are some really cool songs on it. But there are also some I hate...
Get out, and take your Sacagawea dollars with you! I'll give you 'til three. One! |
