Anyhoo. No big deal. I just turn off flash before I come here now. Problem solved.

Maybe Bone's just used to broadband and the 56k speed shocked him.

The flash layout takes a moment to load, but not what I expected to wait. It loads as long as a jpeg would. The only real delay is for the reply buttons under the posts.

True, I don't like this board, but not because of how long it takes to load, just that I was so used to ezboard. The only thing I had against ezboard were the ads and you guys didn't have ads. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and look at all the fixing that has been done! It's like trying to make a FPS after releasing UT on Dreamcast or a wrestling video game after WCW/nWo Revenge on N64! I'll NEVER be satisfied!

You're nuts Tork. This place is so much better than ezBoard. From the ground up. It not only looks better, but we don't have to deal with any of ezBoard's "problems". Plus we control everything here.... muHAHAHAHAHA! The only negative is that you can't use your universal ezBoard account here.

Speaking of which, since when have non-registered users been able to post in General and Represent?

I wasn't around the last time around (the fashioned 'old' forums), however I'm sure they didn't top this superb layout (or host for that matter). Well, nice 'introduction-to-the-forums-new-members-read-here-first-before-posting' thread ;-P

I would suppose the Bacons forum was just created to match the name 'NBrid,' the name of the forums (and whatever else 'NBrid' applies to!), am I right? Well I like the word (and forum) Bacons to replace the common 'Irrelevance' or 'off-topic' forum names. NBrid's is really creative!

The grade I will give this layout overall is an A+.

Wait a second, you joined in August...and you're commenting now? Well, nice words and I thank you for them. However Bacons is a 3 (maybe 4) year old running gag relating to IRC stats and has part of NBrid since near conception. Now General being called NBRID General Discussion was so that it would fit the layout. Ahem...R also.

Wow that's right. People were trying to "influence" the chat room stats so for whatever reason someone wanted 'bacon' to be one of the most popular words. However, the default was to watch for 6+ letter words only, and so they lengthed it to 'bacons'... and it's meant wierd, wacky stuff ever since.
