Account confirmation code problem

Hello,

just recently my buddy Psydd referred me here, just for me to find out that the confirmation code (upon signing up) is screwed up big time.

If any admin will be able to check this out, and see if it was rather my eyes that are screwed up (highly doubtful), or if the coding or something of the sort is wrong.

I plan to contribute constructive material to NBRID, but before doing so, I'll need to see what's going down, unfortunately. =\

Hmm... The only thing I can think of is, do you have cookies enabled in your browser? (They need to be enabled for sessions to work.)

I just updated the code image so it's bigger (didn't realize how small it was...). See if that helps any too. I just did a test register and it worked for me.

If you're still having problems, let Hybrid know and he can just create the account for you.

Phew, thank god I didn't have to do any work on this one. I read this and thought, man this better be the cookies. Im not really sure why people have been having problems with all this. Maybe it's because I modified a lot of the code. Since then I believe bone has tweaked a number of things so god bless him for knowing what he does. Anyways we look forward to your contributions. Now all you need is an avatar.

I am great, arn't I... Though I think the problem was the code was too small to read (I know I couldn't... I never looked at the registration page before, heh).


FYI: When I changed the code deally to the new phpBB 2.0.1 style, I created a 'hack' that requires a confirmation code when posting (non-registered users). Why? Someone told me there is a good chance those 'Russian' spam posts were from bots spidering the web for forums that don't require registration... We'll see how this goes. The previous 2 changes since launch (unhiding the quick reply and the SEO changes) worked to some extent.
