| I've never seen Roxbury but I find it hard to believe it's better than Old School or Elf or Anchorman or anything else Will Farrow may have done. |

farrow?
Anchorman>Old School>Elf>Roxbury. Keep in mind that I have never seen Elf and I have only seen about 5 minutes of Roxbury. |

Bah! I don't know how I put a ow instead of an el.
And I think I might put them in this order: Elf > Old School > Anchorman >>> Roxbury. But it's a touch call with those first 3. |

night at the roxbury is so awesome. It's a movie you can watch repeatedly and I even quote it on occaision. especially the part where they're on the beach and they're like hey what's up poccahontes? want a little of this? or how bout a little of that? also when that chick wants to do it and they're STILL using pick up lines. oh man too good. and anchorman was too hot or miss. only good part was when jack black kicked the dog and he used the term "broseph" and when they had the gang fight. elf wasn't the funniest movie but it had a ton of charm. old school on the other hand is one of the greatest movies ever, I mean old school just doesn't miss. all the jokes are so funny and all the lines are classic. the characters are great. only second to zoolander in my opinion. Old school almost makes me wanna ask the school for a refund cause my college experience has been nothing like that.
so old school > night at the roxbury > elf > anchorman |

I can't believe there's someone that liked both roxbury AND zoolander. Now I havent seen zoolander...or most of roxbury, but I do know that everyone I've met has hated zoolander.
You QUOTE that movie?
Things I loved about anchorman:
-throwing a typewriter at someone's face
-the cologne
-the really dumb guy from the daily show, steve something?
-the petty rivalries between the news stations that escalate into a gang fight for some reason and then ben stiller is there.
When I saw old school, it was a downloaded bootlet cam version so the lighting was really bad, the sound was bad and most of the time I was doing either homework or something else. I should probably watch it again. |

only people that hate zoolander are ugly people. beautiful people can watch zoolander and laugh at our quirks. seriously, zoolander is great. i mean how can you miss when you have a gasoline fight scene and a walk off? also pajamas with feet that have penguins on them. cameos by paris hilton and BILLY ZANE. also the sound track has "he's not heavy he's my brother," "working for the weekend," and "wake me up before you go-go" it's a can't lose formula. it has the stupid overtly funny physical stuff and it also have those jokes with mutiple layers to them so you find something new to laugh at everytime you watch it. you should seriously watch it cause i only know of one person that doesn't like it and it's only cause he's a minority and only likes comedies that are in da hood.
and you should watch old school, you should own it. watch old school then watch anchorman, then watch yourself throw anchorman away. that oldschool is just so great, i mean the dialogue is just fantastic, lines are classic. and i think most have uncles or know people just like frank, mitch and beanie. and that steve guy in achorman was horrible, his jokes were just so terrible and too obvious. i mean most people would laugh at crap like that, but anyone that takes any pleasure in the art of comedy would totally feel insulted. it's just too easy. |

| old school was only funny cause of farrels birthday/dart scene, and zoolander for its gas fight. Anchorman had a dog and a bear talking to each other at the end for petes sakes, thats turnin silver into gold right there. |

Simplicity is often the best formula for comedy. Steve's dumbass lines are pulled off so well with great gestures. I mean he was holding a GRENADE in a gang fight for god's sake! Also the dog talking to the bear was classic. There's stupid funny done well (anchorman) and stupid funny done poorly and obviously (euro trip). I'm sorry but you're not a comedy connoisure (sic).

| That I am but I don't run around with the Mexican flag draped over me. and I did say I enjoyed the gang fight, but the rest, geez it's so horrible, most of the jokes just fall flat. and simplicity wont get you past more than 1 viewing. also most people I know don't like Anchorman either and love zoolander. maybe it's a geographical thing? like cali people would be more in tune with a comedy about fashion, beauty and handsomeness whereas someone in boston would be more in tune with complete crap. i don't know just a thought. |
