Your dual screens? Who gives a flying ape shit fuck?! How many games have put it to use other that to make one big screen or a map screen? No, the one cool thing about DS is the touch screen. Take the PSP's screen (and power) and make it a touch screen... I'd actually get that handheld.


And I got Conker... 4 years ago when it first came out. (BURN!)

Great game, but I dont have a Xbox nor the patience for remakes...

The whole 2 screen interface hasn't been AMAZINGLY OMG utilized yet, but maps and inventories on another screen really do eliminate having to pause certain games a lot. With kirby, the map is essential for finding certain medals. It's very handy to have available at all times. Trauma Center (that surgery game) uses the 2 screens to both operate on the bottom and talk with your coworkers on the top. Advance Wars has aerial units on the top screen with ground on the bottom. The whole touch interface has been utilized the most so far.

Anyways, LETS HYPE GAMES!

Bomberman DS will be 8 player via wireless and it will use both screens as the playing field. Not bad if you ask me. Once you die, you can fling bombs from the bottom screen at people. Oh and you can even yell into the mic to blow stuff up.

Conker supposedly doesn't have a great multiplayer mode (it used to have that kickass beach mode!) but obviously the single player game and graphics are amazing. I might wait on picking this one up.

Those are the only 2 games im interested in for this week. However, I anticipate buying about 3-4 games NEXT week.

Meteos! It's like verticle tetris attack, only completely different and unique! Gamespot loves it, IGN loves it, I loved it (at E3). Apparently you can even send your friend a demo of the game to try it out. Now THAT's good marketing! All free and shit...anyways, if you have a DS (psydd) you need to buy this game. It's the one I've been waiting for with more anticipation than anything else on the DS.

I know some people around here think 2D is dead, especially top-down shooters (coughhybridcough), but there's this pretty cool flash game based off Raiden (?). There's 8 levels and it's not easy since you only get 15 lives.... though the purple tractor beam helps.

I've been looking for a copy of the Raiden Project in its original huge psx box, but I can only find it in just game form. I'll try that thing out.

Speaking of hyping games, Atelier Iris comes out on Wednesday. Hopefully this will wash the bad rpg taste out of my mouth.

Hmm, I just read some information about the Sega Ages (remakes of old sega games) collection. Apparently they're up to volume TWENTY now in Japan. Of course here in America, all we got was the one Sega Classics Collection with maybe half the Ages games on one disc. The good news at least is that for volume 20 they aren't using that same company that made really crappy remakes and are instead including the original versions. Of note especially is the:

Gunstar Heroes: Treasure Box: Includes Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy and Alien Soldier, three of Treasure's best known Mega Drive titles.

THREE treasure games that I don't own. Yet another thing Japan gets that I want. Well, I'm hoping they at least make a Sega Collection 2 and give us some of these new ports/remakes. I'd absolutely want that Treasure Box. Hell I'd pay $50 for those 3 games...maybe I should mod my ps2...

Interesting, seriously. I don't think I'd pay $50 unless the disc had a shit load of old games, but maybe it will. Or maybe it will only cost $20!

Which reminds me. Do people actually buy those old NES games like Donkey Kong for GBA at $10 for one game? I hope not... might give Nintendo a bad idea of what to charge to d/l them to Rev.

They sure as hell paid $20 when they first came out. Luckily most of them have dropped in price now. I've told a lot of people looking for classic Mario Bros. to just pick up Super Mario bros DX for GBC since it has the lost levels, isn't stretched wide, and is the SAME game. Oddly enough, that thing is still $20 used.

AHH! I've been wondering for awhile why the fuck Nintendo didn't come out with a compilataion disc like EVERYBODY else is doing. Nintendo could come out with some sweet discs (well there was the Zelda one... without LttP though). But $20 for ONE game? Fuck that. Hell, fuck $10. Fuck $5 even.

Okay, it's mostly luck, and it looks like crap, but until MS releases it's handheld - made from the same manufacture who gave us the 360 power adapter - it's about all one can play these days.

Well, DS is getting a game even more archaic than the hardware inside it, but yet the thing still somehow sells.
