well ill be getting at least one gaslight cd now. I drive way more with this new job so im in desperate need of more cds. No I will not use my zune in my car as I like to listen to entire albums in the order in which they were intended. At home though, I just set my 4000+ songlist on random.
Also what is up with best buy not carrying the new Alkaline Trio? The last 2 times I went it wasnt there. I finally called today and I guess they may have the regular edition but no limited. I pretty much always go limited when its an option, but is it really worth a whopping $25? (amazon price) |

| the bonus disc is rad and has a bunch of acoustic stuff. i don't know if i'd pay an extra $10 for it but i got it for $15 the week it came out and i haven't regretted the decision. "burned is the house," the proper b-side is ridic good. i still can't get over how much i love the new album. |

| Yeah I managed to find it at a best buy near my new job. I picked it up along with the 59 sound and LTJ's B is for B-sides. All albums are good stuff. the new Trio cd is way better than Crimson. Since it now takes me about an hour to get to work, I have plenty of time to appreciate new music. Though that also means I have less time to appreciate everything else. |

| No I'm working on a cartoon for the Ion Network right now. It's a team of 3.5 guys (one guy doesnt do much). I might keep working at Gamestop once a month for the discount but this job may have some crazy overtime with the deadline they've given us. |

| oh man you're making christian cartoons? that station is on the monitors whenever i'm at the gym and let me tell you that nothing gets me pumped for 45 minutes of cardio quite like anthropomorphic vegetables reenacting bible stories! |

| HA! That's right, I forgot their big draw was veggietales. No this cartoon is an even WORSE concept. It's about a bunch of 1st graders and it's set to an urban tone with a "hip hop vibe." Of course all of us animators are white boys with no sense of "flavor" so pretty much the only rappish thing about the show will be the beats. The executive producer is the lead singer of Onyx. Remember Onyx? Yeah I had no idea either until one of the guys looked them up on youtube. SLAM! |

Wow, Onyx? Never thought I hear of them again... Though is it really wise to bash your employer on the internet? Wait, I forgot where we were for a moment. I was just thinking where I work at every monthly staff meeting they remind us not to post shit in blogs. People (read: Google) always seem to find it. Then the local news finds it. Then we have another fiasco... epic fail, cough/
So yeah, I've been going through a rough time lately:) I need some 'happier' sounding music to listen to. However much I love Gaslight Anthem, they really don't help my mood... I wonder when Pink's new album comes out. |

Gaslight Anthem makes me wanna cry... yet I'm super excited to find out they're doing a headlining show here in Madison Nov 19! So sweet...
I saw Broken Social Scene this past weekend. They also put on a great show. I'd never seen them before and was afraid without Feist or Emily it wouldn't be the same. Well, it wasn't, but it was still really good. Even the crowd requested Anthems of a 17 year old girl. |
