Better late than never I guess...
I sold one and kept four of them. I've also got seven of them up on eBay right now... under my "sewlbirn" nick if anyone is interested.
I'll probably just sell all of the rest together in a "console only" lot, seeing as to I've run out of controllers, AC's, and RF's to go with them.
Genesis does what Nintendon't.

you know, that big rounded circle on the 1st-gen Genesis would've been a great spot for a top-loading CD drive |

some day I will own an arcade cabinet. Possibly one of those Taito ones that you can pull a chair up to. I'll pump it full of MAME shmups (among other things) and it will be the most kickass thing ever. Of course this will come after college...Next year perhaps?
Ive never even played that game. |

An arcade cabinent would be cool to have. I've never played Temple of Doom either, but that hardly matters.
Though what would be really bad ass would be a pinball machine... |

Indiana Jones is and evil EVIL game. There was a port of it for the NES back in the day, but it only retained certain similarities. You spend most of the game whipping thugie gaurds, and whipping flaming hearts that Mola Rom throws at you.
The cool thing about this cabinet, is that it's an Atari System I cabinet, which means I can swap it out with other games for the System I like Road Blasters, Road Runner, Marble Madness, and Peter Pack Rat pretty easily. All I have to do is buy the kit, and replace the Marquee, Control Panel, and Daughter PCB. |

It's like blowing up a balloon! Seriously though, that's a lot of work for most people and I'm not sure why you'd go through the trouble. I GUESS if you absolutely love the 100% authentic feel, I'll accept that. I think everyone born in the 70s or 80s wished they had an arcade cabinet at some point. I always have! |

| It really doesn't take much effort to swap the out... 30 minutes tops, and it'll be cool to be able switch it out every month or so. |

I took some new gameroom pics the other day... I'm too lazy to link individual pics, and need an excuse to spam an awesome video game collectors site, so they can all be found by clicking below, as well as a list of all my games/consoles.
http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/collection.pl?action=profile&name=DevIancE&folder=Collection
I've also got an A/V Famicom (Japanese NES), and a Famicom Disk System coming to me in the mail, so I'll have pics of those up there soon as well... hopefully this year, I'll get off my lazy ass, and organize my gameroom and add some shelves, so I don't have a closet full of shit that I have no room to display. |

I think he has god himself beat... I don't think he has a cool Famicon.
But I certainly can't speak because really both those put my "collection" to shame. Especially in terms of Nintendo. |
