Seriously, LittleBigPlanet is EXACTLY the type of game I've been waiting for on the Wii. Yet here it is, coming out on PS3. In one day Sony announced a more innovative game than all of Wii's combined (minus maybe Wii Sports). What the hell happened?

If you haven't seen it, watch it. It won't change the world, but it looks fun. (Or maybe I'm just a big Go! Team fan.) And with user created levels should add even more. It's just the idea that Wii needs to end the streak of fucking PS2 ports and mini-game games. However much I want the next Metroid or Mario, and sure Paper Mario looks cool, this is the type of thing I'd really like to see on Wii.

Then there is the whole PS3 Home brings the Metaverse alive, on your TV. It's like taking the fun stuff of PSO (the lobbies) and expand on it to make it its own thing. Could be interesting. Again probably won't change the world, but you never know. Sure beats some poll channel... (not saying I wish Wii had something like this, I couldn't care less, just Nintendo can't sit on it's initial success, it needs a interesting game *I* want!)

Yea the littlebigplanet does look pretty good. Dont really think its worth getting a ps3, though I dont think the wii has anything making it worth getting either. In fact the new generation pretty much sucks imo at the moment though the 360 seems to have some good potential. Granted its been out longer but im just sayin..

Well, yeah. I wouldn't get a PS3 for just LBP (nor Home), but they are nice additions. And sure Wii will be worth having for Mario and Metroid and such. Though the point is more when is Nintendo going to wake up and get games like this since they could kick ass with the remote/

Everything right now still seems to be more 'potential' than anything.

Im sure the Wii will get something as innovative or more so eventually though I must say one of the things that drew me to LBP is the amazing graphics and we all know the Wii will never get that.

part of LBP's charm is that it really looks like these weird dudes exist in real life. The scenery and textures are just incredible and it's a good example of how graphics can actually make a better game (experience). I'm really not sure what to think about Home's parallels to PSO at the momment. I only really liked the lobbies so much because I was playing the game while I was in college and all my friends were back home. Now I've got every system and tons of games to play at all times.

The cardboard cutout castle drawn on with magic marker is pretty bitchin'. Seriously. I do love its whimsical look and feel. The game definitely looks like it will be better for its graphics, but it wouldn't have sucked on Wii with Wii controls. Though I'm sure it would have sucked online...

Off topic but Ratchet and Clank PS3 looks pretty sweet too. Sucks about the dentist.

Speaking of beyond me, it seems Capcom has announced a Harvey Birdman game similar to Phoenix Wright which could be awesome! The beyond me part comes in when you realize its for PS2/PSP and not DS... GS

Though even odder is the most popular story on the 'Nbrid main site' isn't about Tupac nor is about the best RPGs, it's the story "Damn you Nintendo, what have you done to my Samus..."

yeah we all knew about this like LAST WEEK! It's made by the same crap team that made hits like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and...other crap. I'll probably get it if it's a budget title or I'm NOT in debt.
