Peter & Adrian here, from Isopod Labs. Pardon the intrusion, but… we’re writing because you e-mailed Luxoflux (our former studio) in the past about your interest in the Vigilante 8 video games.



Guess what – a remake of V8 for next-gen systems is finally in the works! After MANY years and countless fan mail, we’re super excited to be able to return to our ‘roots’ and deliver the joys of ‘vehicular combat’ to worldwide audiences once more. Isopod Labs is a new startup by the original founders of Luxoflux and V8 developers (us!) so you can rest assured that the game is in good hands J



Much of the design is yet to be finalized, so we figured that we would reach out to a select group of fans to get some valuable feedback. We understand that it will be people like you, who fondly remember the V8 games, who are likely to become our first customers. So, we’d like to invite you to become a part of the development process to help us make another great V8.

That is pretty random. V8-3rd Degree would be cooler than a remake though. I hope in the section called 'what system do you want to see this on' you selected Wii and PS3 as well as DC and N64...

V8 was a decent game but I will never understand your fixation with it. Then again, I'll never understand why so many people come into the store asking for a game just like "25 to Life."

Ensuring the quality of a V8 game is like ensuring the next Celine Dion album doesn't suck... at least it's an easy gig. But me, I likes a challenge.

V8 was good. But it was no TM2 or TM: Black... speaking of Jaffe...



And Brewers have the best record in baseball STILL! Even if it's only by a half a game over, grr, the Red Sox. Who cares. 24-10 is a damn good start plus the Sox are in the American League. Aka the lame league.

I was at the Sox game on Friday during Barry's first homeplate Fenway appearance. My throat is still sore from the business bestowed upon that man.
