| I suggest heading out to Hong Kong and shopping for some legitimate dvds or that dreamcast-in-a-bag thing. |

Wow, that's awesome. But now that you mention it, I'll be in Osaka in early August as well... ok, no. I'll still be stuck here in the middle of no where. Sniff/
And by "sharpen your japanese skills" I assume you mean your deadly accuracy with a samurai sword.... |

| Oh snaps I just came from an arcade in Shibuya which apparently are still alive and kicking in Japan. There was a line from one floor to another for Tekken 6, and I got to play Mario Kart 2. The Japanese have manage to keep the arcades alive with innovative games most involving setups that can only be really enjoyed in an arcade setting. Who wants to bet on virtual horses without the rows and rows of seats complete with their own monitors and ashtrays. |

| Wait, from one floor to the other? It's so big there are multiple floors? Maybe if games with special setups like even guitar hero had gotten popular over here sooner there would me multi tiered arcades here in the States... I wish I could bet on virtual horses. |

| I hear the place to be is Akihabara. Apparently once VF5 came out, they dedicated an entire FLOOR to the game. |

You ok Conn? I heard there was an earthquake somewhere in Japan... I don't pay attention or care enough to know where.
Mainly I just hope no arcades were damaged. |

DId I mention theres grown women and men in these arcades?
Yeah im fine. I only felt some tremors though it did do some damage in parts a little further away. I also got to enjoy typhoon season...yay.
Yea Akihabara is pretty swank though its just like a thousand stores all selling the same products. Nifty phones, camera, and games but still the same product. The real draw are the chicks dressed like maids.
I dont know how to drift in Mario Kart 2 arcade and refuse to ask.
p.s. The arcades still got dozens upon dozens of VF5 cabinets. I actually beat the Challenge Version. I couldnt even tell you who I was playing..some girl. |

| shes must have been off her game because everyone in japan kicks ass as VF5. I've heard stories of men in business suits that go to the arcade on their way home from work. I wonder if theres ever a crowd around the guilty gear cabinets. |

| my point is still valid! You need to find out about any location tests for Basara X (new capcom 2d fighter). Why they'd make a game based on Devil Kings is beyond me. |

| Apparently the Silent Hill shooter hit Arcades recently. Im still in intrigued with Pop N Music. I tried some House Of Dead 4 and got owned. The caliberation seemed off. |

So I ventured out to the East side of town today... which in general is a mirror image of the west side. But I found one tiny difference in the malls, the east side mall has an arcade! Ok, it's a pretty shitty ass arcade, but its something at least. I guess.
And it's never your fault you suck Conn, huh... |
