So maybe I've been listening to too much Built to Spill, but this is just rrrreally boring and not good at all.

Sorry for wasting the bandwidth! If you want to talk about how great of an album "Keep It Like A Secret" is, I'm down.

Huh, I completely missed PUSA had a new album. But it's not very good? I really liked their last one, Love Everybody, so that's quite disappointing... hmm.

But Built to Spill is good. I was recently listening to You in Reverse. Going against your mind is an awesome song.

Just as a heads up, Goldfinger's new album leaked the other night. It uhhh... certainly is a new Goldfinger album, I guess. There are a few traditional ska tracks which is a nice bone for them to throw but on most tracks Feldman's voice lacks the energy to keep up with the rest of the band.

The bonus track is ridiculous. It's like what'd happen if Plain White T's decided they were rocking too hard and needed to "take it down a level."

so does the downward progression of their last couple cds continue with this new album? They sure are troopers.

Oh not at all. If anything it's the best album they've released since Stomping Ground. I've listened a few more times and I've warmed up to it a bit. Some of the overproduction gets really annoying because you can tell Feldman just wanted to wave his dick around a bit, but there really isn't a track I outright hate on the album proper, which is something I guess.

The hidden track is just so lame though. We get it, dude. You love your son. Write a better song about it you shitty old man.

Would You be Impressed? might be the sickest song recorded and released last year. Just a thought.

New New Found Glory this week. Just sayin. New Gnarls Barkley in a few weeks. I'm a fan. Big whoop. Wanna fight? Yeah that's all I know.

Oh, Flogging Molly had a new one, Float! While not their best, it's still Flogging Molly so it's good.

On the plus side I found out Vampire Weekend is coming to Madison soon (great band BTW). On the bad side, it's already sold out... dammit. Sad

Heh, APRIL FOOLS!

Yeah, April 1 is NOT my birthday, but I often use it as such when making various accounts around the vast metaverse.

Anyhoo, after my flub of mixing up which album came out that week, I have been enjoying the new Gnarls Barkley. Isn't quite as fun as the last, but I find I still enjoy it quite a bit.

And NiN's Ghost comes out on an actual CD this week. Before you walk away, it's actually quite good.
