We all know that the Dreamcast hasn't been the greatest system for the
RPG lovers. (One being myself.) Only beating out the N64 in this category,
the DC hasn't really had anything special as far as Rpg's are concerned,
until now. With the release of Skies Of Arcadia, Grandia 2, and the soon
to be PSO, the Dreamcast is indeed looking brighter and brighter.

--------------Grandia2-------------------

PROS/Graphics: Let's just say everything! Talk about next-gen
RPG. Grandia 2 is the prettiest game I've seen on any system. The grand
colors remind me of the SNES rpg's, so bright and colorful. Everything
in Grandia 2 is so detailed. The towns are unbelievable to look at. Oh,
and the spells are the coolest thing I've ever seen. You really have to
see them yourself to believe them. The spells are a mixture of in-game
with CG, and boy is it something great, and probably something to be ripped
off in future rpg's. I could go on and on, but unless you see if for yourself
I could never convey the feeling.

CONNS/Graphics: Absolutely nothing, and I've never meant it more.

-----------Grandia2---------------------

PROS/Sound: The music also shines. With new and classic songs,
the music puts you in the mood. Like any great RPG, it's epic, and what's
even better is that a music cd is included free with the game. Sugoi desu!!!!

CONNS/Sound: A bit below standards of the original Grandia.

----------Grandia2----------------------

PROS/Control: The control is comfortable and easy to work with.
Since it's an RPG, the basic control is pick an option and watch the action
unfold. The use of analog and D-pad is included to move in the game, and
unlike the PS control, the DC analog's position is in a nice place to
use for an RPG.

CONNS/Control: C'mon its an RPG.

-------------Grandia2----------------------

PROS/Gameplay: It's innovative and fun, just like the first Grandia.
The story is now more complex then its birth mother. While Grandia was
simply about an adventure that turned into a bigger scheme, Grandia 2
starts off with trouble. The characters are cool, and worth caring about
as well. The battle system is taken from the original, and even cooler.
Basically, the characters fight on a large plain after running into any
of the in-level visible monsters. The characters can move around the stage
fighting and evading. It's even possible to have four people attack a
monster at the same time, causing a destructive combo. If you've played
Grandia, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, then it should
surely be a nice change from the static Final Fantasy battles.

CONNS/Gameplay: It seems the powering up of weapons have been
taken out since the first Grandia. :(

------------Grandia2--------------------

Overall: If your looking for a great RPG, this is the one to get.
After seeing this game, you'll hope that Grandia 3 is in the works, and
of course Lunar3.
