Fighter Vipers is a arcade port of Sega's hit fighter, Fighting Vipers.
Graphics
________
Pros: The game is along the lines of Virtua Fighter 2. Okay character
models using hundreds of polygons.
Conns: Backgrounds are a bit bland for the most part, as well as special
moves. Graphics are a bit blurry as well.
Sound/Music
___________
Pros: The music is decent fighting music. The sounds of armor clashing
are nice.
Conns: Music is sorta Bleh, bleh, bleh.
Control
________
Pros: The Saturn controller works to pull this game with the help of 6
buttons on the front. The buttons are used for punching, kicking and blocking.
Conns: Nothing innovative.
Gameplay
________
Pros: It's a basic 3-d fighter, only with the added ability to knock your
opponents armor off depending on what part if the body you concentrate
your attacks on. Without armor the opponents energy depletes much faster
when hit. The characters are a weird bunch, with some of them using skate
boards as a weapon. Also depending on how hard the last attack on your
opponent is, the enemy can be sent through the arena confinements into
the background.
Conns: Needs more modes.
The End
_______
If you really wanna play, I would suggest getting the import Dc version.
