Looking for a "massive fighter plane simulation" for your Xbox? Then this game from your good pal Konami might be for you. And yes, the shrew has returned, better then ever!
Air Force Delta Storm is a massive fighter plane simulation with many things to accomplish. It features over 70 planes, ranging from the latest in military technology to astounding fantasy jet flyers. Some aircrafts include the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18 Hornet and A-10 Thunderbolt.
Smooth graphics and textures make this game one of the best out yet.

Wow. Konami has really out done themselves this time. As you can see from the screen shots, this game looks quite pleasing to the eyes. Air Force Delta Storm (AFDS) has an amazing show of smooth textures and vibrant colors, not possible with other systems. The Xbox is a perfect platform because of its GeForce 3 graphics card from Nvidia and fast processor. There are many enviroments of play including morning, dusk, and night; each one having its own characteristics. All of the fighter jets, aircraft carriers, and every other element has been carefully made ater the real deal. From the plane, to the landforms; everything is very detailed, to the pixel. When you glance at this game, the first thing you notice are the awesome views. These graphics are one of the many benefits of modern technology, today. Easily the best part of this Xbox title.
Gameplay: 7
With as many buttons as the Xbox controller has, figuring out the controls should be a fun experience:). All the stuff that you would think that would be in a fighter plane simulation. The works includes machine gun, missles, and turbo. It's NOT customizable so that you have to stick with defaults. My theory is that I shouldn't have to adapt to the game, it should adapt to me, but I guess Konami didn't know this. Basicly an average score for something that should have been added to.
Sound: 9
Awesome mimic of real sounds while you're up there in the sky! Tunneling sounds, radio calls, missles flyin by you are some. Maybe not the best in varitey, but they are very realistic. You can hear the air goin by you!
Replay: 6
You know those games that are addictive and you gotta go back for some more? This isn't one of those games, sadly. Once you beat all the objectives, there is nothing else to do. Unlike fighting or FPS there is nothing to get better at or show off; just crush the computer over and over again.

One of the best games out for the box. Great for people that want to show off the Xbox's power. Check out your local videogame store to pick it up or click one of the banners on the right. You WON'T be let down.
