I just want to start off again by saying that PAY TO PLAY CAN BE A GOOD
THING. Pay to play can be good for games like Everquest which have almost
no cheating and handles your data server side (no offline game so no offline
save). I wrote my last editorial 1 day before foolish Sega announced pay
to play for SegaNet. I just want to say, those greedy Japanese! The least
they could do is buy some damned customer support!!! PSO v2 is good but
they are doing NOTHING for North American gamers. Everything new and updated
is only for the Japanese version even though we're now paying more per
month than they are! I just would like to set the record straight on something.
A lot of people are defending Sega on the pay to play for SegaNet by saying
that it was sega.com's decision. Well listen up budday, sega.com's parent
company is Sega of America, Sega of America's company is Sega of Japan.
What does this mean? Sega of Japan is who decided to make it pay to play
because they are going BROKE! Sports games hardly need any bandwidth because
of, A. There is no cheating in their games, B. Since the 2 DC's link together
there is hardly any bandwidth used, C. Sega sucks!

Sega keeps making one mistake after the next.

I'm going to play a Sega of Japan CEO right now:

Me: Hey, let's cancel Shenmue 2 and make it for XBOX in the U.S. Even
though American gamers supported us more than our own countrymen (the
Japanese) did, we'll still release it in Japan and even Europe, that'll
show them for beating us in WWII.

CEO: That's a great idea! You're now promoted to the Sega of Japan. Screw
the Americans LTD president!

Me: All right! Hey I got another idea! Since we already made PSO v2 pay
to play, let's make SegaNet pay to play and charge them even more than
we do for PSO v2!!!

CEO: Damn! You're good!!! Just for another great idea here's 30% of Sega's
stock!

Me: Sweet! Since I'm already on such a damn roll let's do everything
we told the Americans we'd do for PSO v2 but only for the Japanese version!

CEO: Killer!! Man, you rock! Get back to me in a couple days with some
ideas on how we can screw XBOX, GC, and PS2 owners too!!!

Me: I will! But for right now I'm just going to let my American whore
suck my dick ok?

CEO: All right!

As you can see, the life of a Sega of Japan CEO mainly consists of screwing
American gamers over. At least Sony and Nintendo don't treat their loyal
customers like this.
