G-Rated Non-Gaming Fun with your Wii ...And PlayStation 3

First, all of you sick bastards playing with your "Wii" can leave. I'm sure others with gasp at the thought of using their brand new console for something other than games, but these systems do have other uses people. Maybe it's just my geek side who enjoys fooling around with this, but hey when it's not only fun but useful, why not. I think the last time I used a console for something other than games was web surfing on Dreamcast. That's changed with Nintendo's Wii and Sony's PS3.

This year's expo at the Los Angeles convention center was a little different than it has even been before. The most significant difference was that I WAS THERE! (Reprinted with implied oral permission from Con-Trast)

Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec: Final Fantasy VIII Orchestra Version

In the long line of Final Fantasy games, many fans have their own opinions on which game is the best, however most would agree that just about every Final Fantasy that has been released in the states has been a great game. Unfortunately, the above statement cannot be said by most FF fans when talking about Final Fantasy VIII (8 for you un educated punks out there). Most fans just hated FF VIII with a passion, the story was bland, too predictable, and waaaayyy to much lovey dovey parts for most fans to handle; however, In my personal opinion I believe that the music accompanied by FF VIII was the best in the series thus far, even beating out FF VII, IX and XI’s amazing soundtracks. Read on to see what I thought of the amazing music.

PS3 will own your home

It may be a little early to think about PS3 (target date 2005), but there is some interesting information coming out of Sony's camp that could effect the way we think about gaming. In light of rumors about Rare, Sega, and Microsoft; Sony just keeps right on going. But do we really want to play GTA5 on our alarm clock?
